除了族群形式的“双词缀”命名,以及现代部落形式的“子句”命名外,大部分的角色名字都是单一词缀,仅少数是复合词语。
规则
猫群是由多数猫所组成的群体,大部分拥有一个或以上的首领,甚至可能拥有领地。
而无群猫则是指那些没有明显群聚行为的猫,依据是否依赖两脚兽维生的情况,又可分为宠物猫或野生猫(也就是独行猫或泼皮猫)。
无群猫
- 野生猫的命名大多是猫能理解的事物,也就是动物、植物、气候、颜色等h0自然事物。
- 宠物猫的名字大多源自两脚兽,除了自然事物外,很容易使用两脚兽的名字和物品命名,甚至可能出现意义不明的词语。
猫群
以下的猫群是指现代族群、现代部落、远古部落、远古猫和巨猫族以外的群体。
- 绝大部分的猫群,例如血族、至亲或刀疤营地,本质上都是由上述三种无群猫所组成。
- 少数的猫群,尽管拥有极具独到的文化,却没有非常明显的命名规则:
- 公园猫的描述过少,难以判断;但就目前已知的成员来看,并没有任何显而易见的规律。
- 守护者的成员允许自由加入和离去,因此在命名上和普通猫群无异。
- 姐妹会的已知成员都使用自然相关的物件为名,例如月光或阔野。
- 武士族最初的成员大部分都仿族群为自己进行双词缀命名,但并没有要求后来加入的猫更改名字。
